a bit about me
ETHOS
I’m Chlo, a passionate vegan foodie, surfer, traveller, and yogi with a deep love for nourishing food and a life lived with intention.
This space was created from my desire to live freely, create from the heart, and share the things that bring me the most joy, vibrant plant-based food, meaningful travel, time in nature, and the simple rituals that help us feel grounded and alive.
My passion is showing people that vegan food can be colourful, flavourful, and deeply nourishing, while breaking the stigma that plant-based eating is restrictive or complicated. Through recipes, nutrition insights, and stories from the road, I hope to inspire others to nourish themselves, follow what lights them up, and create a life that feels truly their own.
Who is Chloe Emine?
My middle name, Emine [pronounced Eh-mee-nah], is more than just a name, it carries the spirit of my grandmother and the roots of my Albanian heritage. Growing up, some of my most cherished memories were spent with her on the family farm in Albania, where I learned to cook side by side with her. Those moments weren’t just about food; they were about connection, care, and the quiet strength she carried into everything she did.
I was equally shaped by the time I spent with my Australian nanna. Many of my childhood memories are tied to her kitchen, warm, fun, and filled with the aromas of home cooking. Between these two incredible women, I grew up surrounded by food that nourished both body and soul, and I learned that cooking was an act of love.
The name Emine has origins in Arabic and Turkish, meaning faithful, trustworthy, and compassionate, qualities my grandmother embodied wholeheartedly. For me, holding this name is both an honour and a responsibility. It reminds me daily of the resilience and warmth of the women who came before me, and it inspires me to continue their legacy in my own way.
Including Emine in my branding felt natural, because my work is about more than cooking, it’s about empowering women, fostering compassion through veganism, and creating spaces where nourishment and kindness go hand in hand. Just as my grandmothers nurtured me through food and love, I strive to extend that same care to others, weaving heritage, compassion, and creativity into everything I do.
